Justin, we have now done a fair bit on the ZF. We had a great head start with help from Simon at Xtreme.

We now have one running around at 440 at the wheels, thats the F6 car running 140 mph at full weight. We weighed this car last Friday and with driver came in at 4082 pounds, car only was 3871 {1759.5 kgs} So it certainly has a fair amount of power and we have not seen a single problem with that trans. In fact we are waiting for a problem so we can fit our new input shaft to it.

The other car has 546 rwkws and on street slicks is just a tiny bit slack on up shifts. Once we have the software I believe this will be an easy fix.

Lastly I have a brand new euro 4 spec F6 310 being delivered here on Friday as my new work Ute. It has a ZF and will be used for development for us on the trans. We have been waiting for some time for this so we can finally put our complete kit range thru the Euro 4 emissions test. This will then complete our FG range with full legally tested performance upgrades available for all our dealers.

Just think about a how good it will be to own 10 second fully legal FG Turbo.

Great news that you are doing development on a ute.
I'll be following this with interest to see what other upgrades I'll benefit from. Is the 546rwkw car still with stock internals in the motor?

No it has conrods, all other parts are stock. And yes this does mean a Nizpro 102mm exhaust will now be happening

Still a bloody impressive effort it goes to show how good these engines are in the hands of competent tuners.
If someone was going for max power from F6 size turbo (400-420rwkw?) & they wanted to take the ''better safe than sorry'' approach would just upgrading the rods be a better option than going for a complete built motor? (without going for a lets add this approach & putting something sh1t in)
I guess it would save a lot of money & as you & others have proven with a good tuning people are getting 400-450rwkw with the stock motors with no dramas yet, although most people do agree it's a risk.
